Forest Safety Products have slightly updated our offering of trauma kits some at a reduced price! Constantly evaluating our purpose built kits to provide the ultimate value and effectiveness in chainsaw safety and trauma care. The main change is replacing the QuikClot 50g sponge with QuikClot Advanced Clotting Gauze which includes 2 3” x 24” hemostatic gauze strips. Using the gauze over the sponge aids in treating wounds that need to be “packed” and is more in line with the Department of Homeland Security’s Stop the Bleed Campaign.
Our Crew Kit now upgrades to a Combat Application Tourniquet and replaces the QuikClot sponge with a non-hemostatic compressed gauze for $85. Our bestselling Solo Kit replaces the QuikClot sponge with the QuikClot Gauze and is now at a lower cost of $105! We’ve made the same change with our Hunter’s Trauma Kit and that is now offered at $115. Other minor changes throughout all kits are an update in nitrile gloves and pressure bandages.
