Crew Chainsaw Trauma Kit | Logging, Tree Care & Home Use

Great little kit for logging. Something I am happy to have but hope to never need.

Face it, many of us tempting fate thinking it will never happen to us. I won't speak for you, but that was my thinking. I'm really careful and I'll be fine. The truth is I do this activity totally alone and I would not survive a serious accident in the woods, too far from home base.

I sorted out the kit immediately upon receiving it. You have to do this and get it organized before you intend to carry it with you for use.

In specific, the key item, the tourniquet, must be prepared for use and the kit bag and straps are organized with it for easy access and one-hand retrieval and operation. To me, this is a big part of the appeal of the package and the reason I pulled the trigger after so many years. This single item can save your life, so it is difficult to put a price on it.

The entire design of the pouch and contents is very thoughtful.

The kit is now set up to work exactly as described by the web site and by the review on GP Outdoor's Youtube channel (where I heard about it first).

Steve, the proprietor, was excellent to work with and help deal with the reality of shipping to Canada, which is often not easy or "free".

I hope you never need this kit of course, but I'm glad I have it now and encourage you to consider it too. I will wear it on my chainsaw pant belt every time I use my chainsaw. Period, end of story.
